    I downloaded Search & Filter Pro 2.1 but WP installing failed.
    What can I do?

    This is what WP said:
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the plugin…
    Destination folder already exists. /www/htdocs/w0125030/couperosecreme.com/wp-content/plugins/search-filter-pro/
    Plugin install failed.

    This sounds like WP does not have permission to delete the folder from the plugins folder?

    How did you install S&F initially? It sounds like it might have been via FTP, in which case I’m sure there is something wrong with the permissions on the S&F folder.

    I downloaded the file from your page and saved it. Then installed ist via WP.

    Odd, you might have to delete the S&F folder via FTP then, it sounds liek for some reason WP doesn’t have write permission on that folder :/

    chmod 755. Really odd. I don´t know how to grant access especially to WP.
