Hey,
Great Plugin, thank you. I have a custom post type. Eg. Cakes.
Now I have different Post Metas eg. Receipe Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, Cherries, Strawberries, etc.
I use them to Filter through checkboxes. Now if I tick “Cherries” all Posts appear that include Cherries. All other checkboxes remain within the searchbar. Now if I also tick “Strawberries” it does not show any post as no Receipe has Strawberries AND Cherries.
What I want the plugin to do is hide “strawberries” after I ticked “cherries”
Is that possible?
Many Thanks,

So you mean kind of like, when you select Cherries, strawberries become unticked?
Then you can use either a select (dropdown), or a radio for this option – not checkbox.
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) February 25, 2015 at 11:34 pm #12419This is coming in v2.0 of the plugin ๐
Release hopefully around the end of March – but this is dependant on testing.
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) February 26, 2015 at 10:50 pm #12517Ok but don’t hold me to it as I mentioned its pending testing ๐

How is it going?! Just wanted to ask if you already have an idea when that feature will be available ๐
BTW, we might have to leave Relevanssi very soon as the search is to “heavy”. Relevanssi recommends https://swiftype.com/ for bigger sites. Is there any chance you integrate this soon?
Maybe we can accelerate that process with some EUROS? ^^
Cheers,

Did you get a chance to check out their site? All the search is done outside of WordPress and requires at least a $350 a month subscription – I don’t think this is something I would look at integrating with this plugin (or could), plus it looks like from their video that they have a “filtering” system which you could use.
RE next version – its looking like mid April now – some features taking longer than expected.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) March 24, 2015 at 3:29 pm #13938Hey Ross,
yes I did. They also have pretty powerful free version and a wordpress plugin. But I will contact them first. It is also no rush, we wont need it before next year.
Great! I can’t wait to have that feature : ) Crossing my fingers!
Thank you Ross!
Cheer, Gregor
Ross Moderator(Private) March 24, 2015 at 6:53 pm #13946Ah yes I missed that
I try generally not to support too many third party plugins as the maintenance & development time goes way up when you support 3rd party plugins – for example, every update of that plugin means I would have to test compatibility with this one, and if there are problems spend some serious development time fixing – on top of that I have no idea how difficult it would be to integrate the two –
This means I limit integration only to the most popular plugins, or ones which add functionality to this one
Anyway, lets cross that bridge when we get to it!
Thanks
