Display posts as dropdown in search bar

Dear staff,

We’re using the pro version of your plugin. (Ajax)searching & displaying results on our result archive page is all working as expected.

Now we’d also like to place a single search bar on the homepage of our website. Ideally we want the search bar to work as followed:

– When the user inputs characters the searchbar shows live results in a dropdown;
– When the user click one of the posts in the dropdown he navigates to the single post;
– When the user does not click a result but hits enter he navigates to the archive page (this already works).

We’re not able to find a way to display a dropdown with results. Do you know if this can be implemented and if so, do you have any tips or documentation available?

Livesearch is not a feature of our plugin. It will be very complex to add, but I think it is on our longer term to do list.
