Only using your own custom javascript to trigger onchange on the options and make changes to css depending on the choice made. This is something were are looking to add in a future version, I think.

we buy many filter
we make multisite

for cars we use facetwp
this plugin like your dont have separate fields for parent child
but they have 2 diferent codes only few words we added to functions.php
one for parent one for child and use 2 time same taxonomie field
first use parent second use child make it possible with this 2 codes

i dont know if you can write something like this i am not html-er only user
and make it possible for user because this is must have for car search
and they have logic pugin you can setup if this then that
this plugin can hide or show fields very simple audi models visibel only if you select audi
if not seleect any make there is no one model field visible

your plugin we use for motorcycles and trucks because there is no models like for cars
any car listing website use text field for models i think because there are many models and submodels of trucks and bikes mobile-de also use text field for bike and truck models
more important in this 2 vehicle type is body type

i am user i think like user we buy facetwp 75€ your plugin i think 25€ metadata taxonomie fitler 30€
2 or 3 other plugins for 10-20€ loos so many time ….. for me as user if i find car search plugin with depend make model fields and all meta keys like mobile.de where i can open simple search and press button to open more fields bellow all in same sidebar i pay 100€

I think what would be a good idea, is if you can create 2 search forms / results, each showing the 2 different behaviors? I think with examples we can figure it out 🙂
