I see the display issue. Your theme does not want to allow it to show results on the front page.

I am not sure how your theme assigns templates to the pages, but you may need to designate/make a page for the results. Currently, the search is set to use As an Archive as the display method, but it may be easier to set up as either the Shortcode method.

On the Home Page, your theme places three blocks of results and uses javascript to fill these. That would be very difficult to directly integrate with.
