Date range not filtering page

Hey,

We have the plugin working and installed on a client’s site. We have three filters once the user lands on the search results page, a date range, a custom taxonomy and a category.

The custom taxonomy and the category are working perfectly. The date range doesn’t effect the results.

What kind of date range? Is it a Post Date field, or a Meta Field?

Hi,

I have tried both. The date brings back no changes and the meta field brings back no results.

The post date should always work, so lets try to fix that first.

When using meta it can be more tricky to setup depending on how you are saving it.

Can you send me a private link to a search form which is configured to search the post date?

Certainly seems odd, there maybe other plugins interfering with the search query.

There are a couple of things I would suggest:
1) disable other plugins and see if there you are still getting these errors
2) rename the page slug from search – this might be throwing something off or conflicting with WP search

If those don’t work can you try to setup a test page by following the shortcode instructions here? – http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/display-results/with-a-shortcode/
