    I am using ACF: Better Search plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/acf-better-search/) to enable ACF field values to be searched in native WP searches. This works with the default search bar, but does not work when adding a search bar in a Search & Filter Pro form. I thought this was a native WP search bar, but I guess there is something different about it?

    Is there something I can do to have a specific ACF field included in the search, either with this plugin or with a custom function?

    Update. Thank you Trevor for your suggestion of Relevannsi. As mentioned in my private reply, I am unable to use Relevanssi for different reasons. But I found the following code, which worked. This code includes specific ACF fields in the main WP search and is compatible with Search & Filter Pro. (I now no longer need to use the ACF Better Search plugin.) Just sharing in case anyone else has this issue and can’t use Relevannsi:
