Hi
I see on a lot of your forum replies that you are disbelieving of the way some users have structured their site.
I have about 500 posts with various categories in total across the site. Of those I have about 50 posts which have various categories assigned but all have ‘classes’ as a category. I would like my visitors to be able to search these classes posts (and only these posts) by using a checkbox system to identify the day of the week they are interested in and the type of class – eg Monday Football.
What is the best practice? Do I tag them with the relevant day of the week and the type of class? Do I use sub-categories (that is difficult for other reasons)? Please help recommend before I waste time and end up having to re-do my work.

That’s a bit strong. I am not disbelieving. It is just that well structured data makes the site easier to design, use and be more attractive to Google ranking.
Are your posts what you would call traditional ‘blog’ posts? Most would probably not be. Instead, you might have competitions, reviews etc. These are types of posts. Your site is somewhat complex (and fun to read 🙂 ). A voice discussion over what might be best might work better (e.g. Skype).
