Hi Eddie
I’ve actually patched a few bugs which will be released later on today – I’ve just emailed it to you directly.
I can see you are using hierarchical, and there was an issue from the last update with the way some of the
LI
elements were being closed, which is why you can see a kind of strange nesting. The fix should sort that out.
Unfortunately 2.1 was actually a pretty huge release, and there have been a few bugs that slipped though which I’ve been working round the clock on in repairing – and should now be done.
I also suspect there are some parameters that are not being used/setup correctly so will talk you through this once you install the latest update.
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) January 27, 2016 at 10:02 am #35429RE refund / faulty code.
S&F has been around for 2 years. We have never advertised features that do not work or do not exist within the plugin.
Thats not the way I ever wish to operate this plugin or any business.
However, as I’m sure you know, with software development, bugs can creep in anywhere throughout development – the product is constantly evolving and over time bugs are identified and resolved, as well as new features being added.
There is no way around this, the best plugins out there operate in the exact same way – however, I find the way bugs are dealt with to the be the dealbreaker for me.
If I have to wait weeks for a fix or an update then fair enough, but if I’m talking 1 on 1 with developer and they are providing me with fixes within 24hrs then there is not much more that can be asked of any developer / software team.
If we continue to experience issues going forward then of course we can discuss a refund, but I hope you consider the time and effort that is being used here to help get you up and running in your environment.
If these were large scale bugs and simply features that didn’t work, then you would see hundreds of similar posts in these forums – however the issues you have are severely limited (in terms of numbers of users affected) so I think its something more specifically related to your environment and an edge case.
Thanks
