Tagged: class-search-filter-admin-notices.php, error, update
Hi,
We are running the latest version of WordPress(4.8.1). The Search & Filter plugin is reporting that “You have version 2.3.3 installed. Update to 2.3.4. View version 2.3.4 details.
Compatibility with WordPress 4.8.1: Unknown.” When I attempt to run the update I get: “An error occurred while updating Search & Filter Pro: Could not copy file. search-filter-pro/admin/includes/class-search-filter-admin-notices.php” I’ve already checked the file permission and I have also checked for adequate drive space.
Please advise.
Thank you,
Mark
I do not know why this is happening, so you may have to do this manually …
1. In the plugin settings you must have the Remove all data when deleting Search & Filter set to OFF
2. Download version v2.3.4 from your account area here.
3. In WP Admin -> Plugins deactivate Search & Filter Pro, then delete it.
4. The Add new plugin, upload v2.3.4 and install/activate.
None of your data should be lost.
