    Hi There,

    A quick query my client has highlighted that when they add more posts the result count is showing the old count. I have had a look and turning Ajax off makes it work fine and the count is up to date. Whilst on Ajax if I paginate through it starts to display the correct count until I go back to page one then it shows the old count.

    So I assume this is Ajax that is caching certain pages? I have had an issue with Ajax before and adding ‘cache: false’ solved the issue but I cannot see where I can do this in search-filter-build.js as it looks like different markup and I do not want to break it.

    Is this something you have come across as an issue before? I have used the cache function everytime a post is added just in case :-

    do_action(‘search_filter_update_post_cache’, $post_id);

    Which works fine but again when using ajax it is still showing the old count number.

    Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks
    Jamie

    Does this happen for all users’/browsers accessing the site?

    If so, it sounds like something to do with a caching plugin, or caching on the server?

    Thanks
