I attempt to find this answer in the existing responses, forgive me if I didn’t dig deeply enough.
I have a search form using the Product Category and Product Tag taxonomies on the shop page and it’s not updating via ajax, but sending the user to the results page.
This is on my development site right now, so I don’t have a URL. I can put it up on staging if that’s helpful. But I’m guessing there is some setting I have incorrect that is the issue.
On the General Settings Tab, can you …
1. Disable the Maintain Search Form State setting.
On the Display Results settings tab
2. The Ajax Container is set to #main. This is probably wrong. Inspecting the page where your WooCommerce search results are probably in a div with id="results", in which case the Ajax Container would be #products. I cannot see this for sure without looking at a live page (you might need to share screens with me over Skype).
