    I think I have this same issue but replies are private?

    I have a checkbox field in ACF. I changed a name from “Lothian” to “Lothian and Borders”
    I then updated all posts to the region of “Lothian and Borders” so no posts now have the region of “Lothian” I even emptied the trash.

    But I still see “Lothian” as a check box option?

    How did you change these terms? In the database, directly? If you did that, you need to rebuild the cache (the grey button a little way above the save button in the form design).

    I updated these in the post – ACF field.

    Not in the database but from each post.

    Ok great. We will most likely need to change an ACF field again, will this be an issue each time? If so , can you tell me how to fix?
