    I have figured out how I can order my portfolio categories. But the checkboxes are stacked. I tried to make them horizontal with some code that I found in other support topics, but it didn’t work… Could you help me with that?

    Hello,
    I would like to use the plugin to only filter the results on the current page. Currently when I use it, it filters to another page that looks different than the current listings page. I want this filter to act how the WPJM jobs shortcode filter would act.

    Also, is there any way to make the tool type filters horizontal so that they look better on the page? The current code I got from another post doesn’t seem to work

    Lastly, I used a parent-child hierarchy for my tool types, but cannot get the label to display above the checkboxes.

    When it doesn’t spit out code it instead displays the actual content of the page as a whole. The goal of the filter for these pages are to just display the title, the tag, the category and that’s it. Thoughts?

    Good afternoon
    I’m trying to assign a CSS to my filters. I’m having a problem that may be a problem but I can not find the solution:

    /* Filter Test */

    input[type=”checkbox”] {
    display: none;
    }
    input[type=”checkbox”]:checked {
    background: rgb(255, 102, 0);
    border-color: rgb(255, 102, 0);
    }
    input[type=”checkbox”]:checked {
    transform: scale(1.3);
    }

    .sf-input-checkbox {
    display: block;
    box-sizing: border-box;
    width: 25px;
    height: 25px;
    background: #CCC;
    margin: 100px;
    border: 3px solid #7A7A7A;
    border-radius: 45%;
    position: relative;
    cursor: pointer;
    transition: .2s;
    }
    .sf-input-checkbox :before {
    content: ”;
    position: absolute;
    display: block;
    height: 300%;
    width: 300%;
    top: -100%;
    left: -100%;
    z-index: -1;
    border-radius: 50%;
    transition: .3s;
    }
    .sf-input-checkbox :after {
    content: ”;
    display: block;
    height: 100%;
    width: 100%;
    background: url(“https://www.ert.pt/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Check.svg”) center center no-repeat;
    background-size: contain;
    transform: scale(0);
    transition: .2s;
    }
    .sf-input-checkbox :active:before {
    background: #bfbfbf;
    }

    In the CSS below, the checkbox and label have the same properties, when I assign PADDING or MARGING (left) on the label to move away from the checkbox, the checkbox also gains padding and “grows” horizontally next to the label.

    It may be necessary to assign a class to the checkbox, but I can not finish this.

    Thanks for the help.
    Thanks.

    Hi! Its me JoJo. I temporarily added my email so Cynthia wouldn’t get bombarded by notifications.

    So i have been modifying the css for the checkboxes but nothing. Also hid the inputs via css. I used snappy snippets extension also. Originally everything was horizontal. Normally if I use !important it would override the default settings.

    Q1. When we add new posts, a frequent occurrence, is the Search & Filter cache updated automatically to include them?
    A1. Yes, as long as they are added via the WP editor page. If they are added though import, we have an action that the import process needs to call to add the new post (or changed post) to our cache:

    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/action-filter-reference/#update-cache-for-a-particular-post

    If you are using WP All Import, then this code (in the child theme functions.php file) should be used:

    add_action('pmxi_saved_post', 'wp_all_import_post_saved', 10, 1);

    function wp_all_import_post_saved($id) {
        do_action('search_filter_update_post_cache', $id);
    }

    Q2. Is it possible to have [the form] a header section, and arranged horizontally?
    A2. It depends how your theme allows you to place widgets. You may need to use a child theme and edit the template PHP file and place it like so. This page in the documentation covers this and the horizontal appearance:

    Apologies if this is answered elsewhere, I could not quickly find it. We’ve activated our copy of S&F Pro to replace a filter plugin that’s being negatively affected by an image plugin’s code.

    When we add new posts, a frequent occurrence, is the Search & Filter cache updated automatically to include them?

    Also – the filter seems to want to run in a sidebar. Is it possible to have it a header section, and arranged horizontally?

    Best Regards,
