The shop page is the home page. Is this page designed in Divi? I ask because I can see the products container is called left-area, whereas for a WooCommerce store it is always called products

I have had a quick look. Two things I observe. One is that you have used Product Category four times in the form. This is not allowed, but I am unsure if that would cause the problem. I can see that Relevanssi IS indexing the products.

The other potential issue is that you are using Divi. When I have seen WooCommerce in other Divi sites, the shop page has been built using Divi Builder and the Shop module.

Read this post abut the multiple use of the same taxonomy:

Great to speak with you James. Sorry I went on a bit.

So, you need to create a shop page using the Divi WooCommerce Shop module, go in to WooCommerce settings and set that page as the shop page. Then add the search to that page – maybe as a shortcode like:

    [searchandfilter id="1428"]

and the other shortcode that you might need, inside a code or text module immediately above the Shop module, and after the search form (it can be in the same module as the search form as long as that is above the shop module as well):

    `[searchandfilter id=”1428″ action=”filter_next_query”]

But, if you search our forum like this:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/search/divi+woocommerce/

You might find other useful information, if it does not work.

Also, I mentioned creating Taxonomies for Make and Model, and enabling ‘Auto Count’ in the General settings. You can use a plugin called Custom Post Type UI, and attach them to the products CPT that WooCommerce makes. You might also find a plugin called Taxonomy Switcher useful to move the tags you already made.

    Hello there,

Following many back and forths with Divi and search from woocommerce I transitioned my website to storefront and everything seems to be working just fine!

I have only one question :

Is it possible upon selection of one taxonomy value from a drop-down or checkbox for example to appear another drop-down selector i.e. sort of nested search – if sth then…?

Thanks a lot for your time!

    HI Trevor,

I have spend huge amounts of time in the past days to try and find the way to solve my issue and it all boils down to the following:

    1) http://404.e6b.myftpupload.com/test1

This is the page that you were checking somehow the search is working with the blog module but the search results are tiny and I honestly do not know why this is happening. Any ideas? The blog module shouldn’t be changing the appearance of the items it shows, so probably S&F is causing that.

    2) http://404.e6b.myftpupload.com/test2

I made another page with the shop module a new search form and changed the shop page of woocommerce to test2 but whenever I search for an item it somehow blurs all the items and then it makes no changes at all.

Do you think that maybe S&F cannot work properly with both Divi and Woocommerce??

I am running out of alternatives 🙁

Any help is of course appreciated.

    Thanks

    Happy new year!

    OK

I had a quick look. As this is Divi and WooCommerce, I do not think you can use the Blog grid. I think you need to use a grid for WooCommerce, maybe a shop grid, and set up the Search Form in the standard WooCommerce way.

Have a quick look at these threads:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/divi-woocommerce-and-search-and-filter-pro/

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/using-divi-shop-module/

Some posts my be marked private, so I may have to edit them to remove private data before making them public.

Have a quick read of these threads to see if they help (especially the third one in that list)?

Did you try the method I pointed you to in your other thread?

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/divi-and-sf/#post-127431

For Divi, it is possible only to use this method or the Shortcode display results method. The way the theme is coded prevents the Post Type Archive and As an Archive method working (but for WooCommerce pages Divi still works fine with our WooCommerce display results method, because Divi does not interfere with WooCommerce too much).

    Hi

Something from our conversation stuck in my mind. You are using WooCommerce, but I seem to recall it was not to sell or catalogue products, but for some other reason?

Anyway, for Search & Filter to work with (Divi +) WooCommerce, Search & Filter needs to be set to the WooCommerce display result method AND the main search page should be the main shop page, in your case:

    http://404.e6b.myftpupload.com/shop-page/

Or you need to change the shop page to the current test search page:

Hi. Divi has a WooCommerce Module, and there is an excellent addon (WOO Layout Injector for Divi), and both of these need S&F to be set in WooCommerce mode. It therefore does not need to be in Custom mode. I think it needs the filter_next_query shortcode before the products grid, but it does not need the script, AFAIK.
