    Hi,

I have installed search and filter pro on a site built with elementor. Here’s the page link: http://yiapl.liquidhostingserver.com/index.php/testing/

If we check software development in the filters on the right side of the page why do the results show on a separate url http://yiapl.liquidhostingserver.com/index.php/tender/?_sft_category=software-development instead getting filtered on the same page through Ajax.

Could you please help sort the problem.

    Hello,

I’m trying to add a search & filter section to my site that is built with Elementor Pro. The challenge is that I want the S&F section to exist in the left-hand column and the post archive in the right (I’ll follow-up with link & credentials).

I’ve found resources online walking through the steps to set this up, but I cannot seem to get any solutions to work.

Hi, are you also using one of the extensions addons (for PagebUilder, Divi, Beaver Builder or Elementor)?

If so, we also have (today I think) released updates for those (they should appear as updates in the plugins page of your site).

I can see the issue. You are using product category more than once. See this post for guidance:

    Hi there!

I have a elementor template added to my navigation search megamenu. For the requirements of my website I need to add three different forms which are in the following order
    1. A search box and sort by.
    2. A taxonomy of collections.
    3. Category and another taxonomy.

I need to create three different forms because each of them vary a lot in styles. My forms are pointed to a post grid.
The problem I face is at one particular time only 2 forms would work properly. If i disable any one out of the three the other two forms start working but when all the three forms are enabled, one gets disabled and the other two work. Please help me fix this.

    Hi,

We have followed the guide (suggested on our Skype call), but can’t work out how to get it to display even the search box, let alone any results!

I’ll follow up with login credentials.

    Thanks

    Hi,
so I was able to make Oxygen and Search&filter work together.
I use a Repeater element in Oxygen (like post grid (for elementor) o easy post for Oxygen, with the custom query “search_filter_id=myid”, and work pretty well! Ajax posts update too!
    But I have two problems
I can’t change dynamically the “select” content, (I try to enable auto count, etc. or add the second shortcode for filter next query, but doesn’t work), so if I select the first custom taxonomy, in the second dropdown I see all the taxonomy term, even if there is 0 count.
The second problem I can’t output a “Not found post” message. Of course, if I can filter correctly my select, can be a no problem at all, or maybe I need to know how to access the PHP query results, so I can show the message with a condition like “found 0 post=show the message”.

    Let me know
    Thank you

Two things. I had not noticed that you have Elementor Pro installed. You could use this method (it requires you to install the addon from the top of the page):

    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/

This is an integration method we have written specifically for Elementor Pro, as that page builder is very popular.

However, if you wish to stay with the Post Grid plugin, the two shortcode you showed me in you lats message will show only the posts. To show the filter form also, you need this shortcode:

    [searchandfilter id="558"]
