OK, I can see that it IS what I suspected, non-standard pagination code. I will have to talk to Ross (the developer) about this, but he is way for a few days. I will try to find a solution from within my notes, but I may have to wait for him to come back 🙁

I would remake the form from new and leave the old one as a ‘backup’ add one control only and test, and then move on incrementally, one element at a time.

So, this turned out to be two forms in the site (let’s call them A and B), where the page had the search form A and result for form B!!

Can I mark this as resolved and close the thread?

So, this was a child theme of Genesis and all we had to do was change it to be an ‘As an Archive’ search, set the page_blog.php template file, name the slug the same as the page that had the search form on and all worked fine. Happiness.

I would have to see it in action, but first that base url needs fixing. It should have a trailing slash on it /
