カスタムフィールドをpost meta で検索する設定にしています。
テストでカスタムフィールドの内容が検索できるか試し、確認が終わったのでテストページを削除しました。
テストページで一度出現した項目が消えません。

The custom field is set to be searched by post meta.

#1 Did you make sure that the post was deleted from trash?
#2 Is Auto Count ON in the form settings?
#3 Did you try rebuilding the cache in the form?

#2 You could edit the Form UI field for that filter and turn ON the Hide Empty option.

The value must be still in the database stored on a post somewhere, maybe a draft post. You might install a WordPress database ‘cleaner’ plugin and run this on the database.
