Hi, I’ve configured Search and Filter Pro in Italian to display in a page named “Vendite”, using the Visual Composer post grid shortcode with a custom made grid. The results page is the same as the one where the shortcode is (“Vendite”).

In the meantime, I translated tags and categories via WPML. In English, I’ve duplicated the filter and made it independent. I’ve not translated my posts yet.

    1. At the moment, in the English translation of “Vendite”, named “Sales”, I see my English filter but without tags and categories and without any content. Is it normal?

    2. Is it correct to keep the results page the same as the one that contains the filter? I’ve not added ?lang=en. Not sure if it’s required.

The pages should be translated also, as should the forms, and they should use the correct pages for results according to this. They cannot use the same page. So, different pages, different forms, different results pages.

So, admitting that I am using a different page for each language, results page should be different?

Not two pages, but two different results URLs, which need to be different with the language added as a query, try adding that. The WPML documentation is here:

Oh, ok. Right now, the filtered posts are in different pages for each language. Different URLs. I’ll add the ?lang=en at the end.

    Will keep you posted. Thanks!
