Hi I created a new search & filter form for my German language.
I am getting the error:
Notice: This Search Form has not been configured to use a shortcode. Edit settings. It has the exact same configuration (apart from different category ID’s and results URL) and is set to use shortcode. The actual search field shows frontend but when you search it shows that error.
Can anyone suggest anything?
Ross Moderator(Private) September 13, 2015 at 4:15 pm #24763Do you ahve a link?
It sounds like, in the settings box, under “display results” tab, you need to choose the option “display results with shortcode”
With WPML, you must create a search form from each language, but then they will be managed independently, so if you make changes to one search form, you msut go through each languages’ search form and change the settings there too.
Thanks

Sorry I think you may have misunderstood. I my first post I have said I duplicated the form for use on the German site so it has it’s own independent form. I also stated I have the “use shortcode” selected. The form literally has exactly the same settings as my English working form but throws up the shortcode error 🙁
Thanks,

Just to double check, did you follow the steps here for use with WPML?

Thanks
