Hi,
I have an a site running the Enfold theme but also have installed WP Bakery to create some new pages.
I installed the WPBakery PB Extension and got the search and filter function working great, only issue is that when the extension plugin is active, side bars appear on every page created with the Avanced laytou builder in Enfold. Even when side bar is set to not display.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks,
Chris
Trevor(Private) November 5, 2020 at 2:51 pm #265361Have you used the browser web developer tools inspector to look at the sidebar to see if the HTML looks different? I wonder if some sidebars are made by Enfold and some made by WP Bakery Page Builder?
I can’t see how our extension would cause this, as it only allows hooks in to the WP Bakery post widgets.
Is your copy of WP Bakery Page Builder a retail copy, or one that came with a theme, and what version is it (see under About in the WP Bakery admin menu)?

It’s a retail copy bought separately from the theme. If I deactivate the WPBakery PB Extension, the pages appear OK again.
Lookig at the HTML of the side bar it appears to be the side bar used in the blog from Enfold.
When I scroll to the top of the page to click on “edit page” in the admin bar, it says “edit search form” instead?
Thanks,
Chris
