If I understand you correctly, the ajax send results in an opaque page but no results? If so, the results container name is wrong. The default is #main, which means that there would be a div like this in the HTML <div id="main" .....> that contains the results area, but NOT the search form. A period before the name denotes class instead, let us say that the area has this HTML <div class="content" .... > then the result container is .results

This is using the WooCommerce display method?

What page is set in the WC settings as the shop? The search must be on that page.

Sorry, I see that it is using the Shortcode method. You should be using the WooCommerce method for WooCommerce. The other methods should not work. I am looking at the form right now, and the cache is slowly building.

    Ok.

I have changed the WC setting as the shop.

So the search and filter widget, has to be on the actual Woocommerce Shop Page? it cannot be inside a product page?

this is the outcome i have now – http://www.islainspired.co.uk/product/newborn/

    Hi

I was just on the search form in setup, just go back and make sure it is setup as you want and that the cache is built OK, then come back to me?

Generally yes, the search only works on the shop page, and not sub-pages.

Done all that still no joy i was going to use the custom option to see if that was to work but it says:

Manually add S&F to an existing query and then simply supply the URL where this can be located. – how do i set this up?

As i need it to work on the page / Product so in my case its a single product page that has been set to use 4 column layout and its using: Mix and Match plugin as its a subscription site for baby clothes rental.

    Thanks

The Custom option is really only for coders who hack around with our plugin code. Not to be advised.

    Ow ok,

I added it to the Shop page, it kind of works on that page which is not idea “except the product images do not display, which i think is due to a function i have added.

So how can i get a filter to work on a single product page :(. as thats all my page i showed you is except it is built to use 4 columns due to the way we need to have it. it could of been done by using “DEFAULT” woocommerce structure etc except the list would of been 2 long and also the Woocommerce subscription plugin would of needed to be customised alot i think which is not ideal as it only allows 1 product to be in a subscription using “Simple Product” so thats why i have had to go with: Mix and Match, which was kind of a solution that works.

    Thanks
    Aaron

From the discussions that I have had with Ross, the WC integration is in its early days and now that he has me on board, and after he has finished a different project that he is working on, S&F Pro will have some major updates, one part of which is much better support for WC, including Product/subpages/category pages.

But that is not there right now.
