    I currently have, PHP Version 7.0 on my of my hosting accounts using this plugin and if I update the PHP to anything beyond that the plugin stops working?

    I purchased an updated License, however when I try to activate it through my site it doesn’t do anything but display the license key. I’m need to update the old plugin without having to reinstall it so I don’t lose filters.

    How are you trying to update it (by uploading the zip/archive file) and what version of WordPress are you using?

    You may need this plugin if you don’t have WP5.5 (I think WP5.5 now lets you do this):
