    When on the Post Type Archive method, our plugin asks WordPress what the URL is for that Post Type archive page. So, what IS the Post Type, and does it have its has archive setting set to true? How did you make that post type (for example, in CPT UI there is a setting for this, which by default – I think – is off, but may need to be ON).

    Another possible reason for a 404 error could be that you need to re-save the Permalinks in WordPress settings.
