I am not aware of any of our other users of Beaver Builder doing that, but that isn’t to say it is not possible.
However, it would still have to be using the Post Type Archive method in order that you can use the theme archive URL structure (which moves the query string from the search part of the URL back in to the normal permalinks type structure that you wanted).
When on the Post Type Archive method, our plugin asks WordPress what the URL is for that Post Type archive page. So, what IS the Post Type, and does it have its has archive setting set to true? How did you make that post type (for example, in CPT UI there is a setting for this, which by default – I think – is off, but may need to be ON).
Another possible reason for a 404 error could be that you need to re-save the Permalinks in WordPress settings.
