You’ll see that we have quite a few forms. We’re going to want to do this on all of them. We don’t want images showing in any search results.

If you look at the Blog search, and look at the Post Meta settings tab, you will see a condition has been added.

I am hoping that this excludes all .jpg files. Can you see if that worked?

If it did, then you can add other (lines) much the same, but for .png etc.

Ah, I see why, you have a very old version of the plugin. Might be an idea to update. 2.3.2 is much faster to rebuild the cache.

Should I wait to update the plugin or do that now?

I show that there’s now a weird dropdown box on the blog page between the buttons on top of the form… not sure what that’s for, and the form isn’t turning up any results when you select a category. No posts, pages or attachments.

When you deactivate the old site, our server takes a while before you can add the new one. The manual method is as shown in this post:

If you want, delete that Post meta condition I added to that search, if it did not work. It is late here, but I will get back on this first thing tomorrow.

Where I had put not like .jpg might need that to be *.jpg*
