You are correct in most of what you say.
However, although you see version 3 in the making for so long, what you probably don’t realize is that even though we have delayed v3 for so long, we have instead been building on V2. So, with new features, fixes, security updates, compatibility etc. we have continued to work on in V2.
It’s just in the meantime v3 is being built, and as you rightly have observed, delayed / stoppages have occurred in favor of adding them to V2.
In regards to the initial point about dependency, this is still yet not available as it was not a high priority (due to number of user requests). This is coming to v3 for sure. And to let you know, v3 of S&F free is complete, and we are trying to finalize the pro version.
As the initial post was a long time ago now, I will close this thread. If you need to follow upon this, please open a new thread?
