Tagged: search searchwp
Hello,
I’m trying to use this plugin https://searchwp.com/ to add additional search functionality to wordpress in conjunction with a search form generated by Search Filter Pro.
However I’m running into an issue, which is that SFP uses a query parameter called “_sf_s” while the searchwp plugin modifies the query for wordpress’s default search query parameter, “s”.
Is there anyway for these two plugins to work together, or to add the ability of the SFP search field to search the custom fields and custom taxonomies of custom post types?
Thanks you!
Whilst we are looking to add support for SearchWP, it is not done yet.
We do support Relevasnssi. Install it (it is free) and set it up for whatever Post Types and taxonomies you want, and in the custom fields setting enter all
. Build the index.
Then in the S&F Pro form Advanced tab, enable the optional support.
