    Hi,
    Is this possible to set your search filter feature, in a user list page?
    We are about to create author list pages, which will be listed from registered users in WordPress.
    And the custom field is put within each user profile and seen in the list page.
    We’d like to search and filter those profile and get results.

    It depends what you are searching. Users data is stored in a separate table from other posts, and as such we do not support searching user data. You can search the authors of posts, because the User ID of the post author is stored in the Post Meta table.

    Thanks, so the plugin searches only within post related data, not user profile’s fields, am I right?
    Like, fields seen in author.php, are not able to be searched?

    That is correct. It is an area we do intend to expand into during the V3 product cycle.

    I cannot give you a release date or schedule. It is what most of our development effort is now focused on. Probably more than 3 months for 3.0, but I am not sure what features that will add, and what will come in 3.1 and 3.2.
