BTW, this issue, did it happen after some updates? or is it something you’ve noticed while building the site?

Hi Ross! Just making sure you got my email. No rush at all of course, but I just wanted to check because sometimes my emails are marked as spam. Thank you so much!

    Hey Victoire

Just to let you know I solved the issue πŸ™‚

It only occurred when upgrading to WP 4.8 (combined with polylang and S+F), so I made a change in S+F and now its working!

I’ll be including this fix in our next update so you can be free to update in future.

    Best

Hi Ross! Just a few comments from the dev who helped me style the filter (after the translation issues were resolved thanks to you!), in case that helps πŸ™‚

    #1. The filter works slowly.
When we choose one of conditions, filter refresh search result for couple of second.
I did not notice it before.

#2. Also when we change language, filter not always works from the first time.
I switched the language and chose “Downtown”. The filter did not work.

#3.On the search page in French, when we choose one of conditions, the page scrolls up.
I did not notice it before.

    Hi Victoire

    To answer πŸ™‚

#1 – this is dependent on how fast your site loads
I checked the ajax request, and TTFB (time to first byte) is quite slow – however, this is impacted by your site speed.
I checked the speed of your site on a page which doesn’t use S&F, and also the page load is slow – http://www.bytecheck.com/results?resource=https%3A%2F%2Fintheloup.la%2Ffr%2Fcarte%2F – in fact TTFB is VERY slow.

This is something that will need to be addressed system wide, with a caching plugin or something similar (we can’t make your site faster than it is, we can only speed up our own queries)

#2 – I can’t see this, can you give me steps to replicate? Perhaps, the page / javascript had not finished loading, and you interacted with the form too soon – if so, fixing page speed issues should also help with this

#3 – This is an option in S&F, check your search form, under display results tab, there is a scroll option πŸ™‚

Let me know if you have any further questions.
