Tagged: slider range
I want to use slider range for taxonomies, but this option is only available for post meta, according to Ross, do not recommend taxonomies and instead use a custom field/meta value – then you can use an integer field and have a slider – my favourite plugin for this is ACF (http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/) as per FAQ
I am newbe in case of wordpress coding, i search given website but not able to understand to achieve my goal “To use slider range for numeric values”, please help me out for this issue.
Regards,
Rajeev
Hi Rajeev
It is not possible to use a slider with taxonomies – taxonomies are not designed usually to be number. whereas post meta is.
Post meta can include various attributes like size (123cm), or price ($2.99) or weight (2kg) – and for these kind of units its great to use a slider. To create meta fields you must use a plugin like this – http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/
I do not plan to add a slider for taxonomies for now.
Thanks
