Timing of auto-submit

Is it possible to change the wait time for auto-submit? My form is submitting a bit too quickly in some scenarios, for example – I have a multi select combo box, where you can start typing the name of an “artist” (I have a database of around 800) but the split second you stop typing the form auto submits. To be clear the form is working fine, its just if you don’t click your choice from the combo box pretty much while you are typing the first few letters…it submits without that info included.

Is there a line of js code somewhere I can edit to slow down the auto-submit process?

At the moment, this is not possible. I think V3 Pro addon plugin will have this as an option, but I think it may not be released till February/March 2020.
