    I’ve added ACF fields to my CPT and the textual search box is not searching them for results. How can I fix this?

    You can either install the free Relevanssi and set it up for whatever Post Types and taxonomies you want, and (if you need custom field support) in the custom fields setting enter all. Then build the index.

    Then in the S&F Pro form Advanced tab, enable the optional support.

    OR

    WP Extended Search also works with Search & Filter pro, with no settings needing to be changed.

    Thanks! WP Extended Search did the work. While we are talking, is there a way to make sure that the search engine will look for the term exactly the way it is? lets say I’m looking for “hunag qi”, I want it to find me just the posts with “huang qi”, and not “qi huang” or “…huang…qi”.

    That I do not think is easy, as most textual search engines use fuzzy search logic.
