Hi there,
I was wondering if there is some way to have a text based Meta field search. I have a real-estate site that I am working on and would like the user to be able to search by city, however I don’t have a defined set of list of cities making a dropdown unsuitable for this purpose.
Thanks for your time.
Hey Scott
Not just yet I’m afraid however you can use Relevanssi in conjunction with S&F to achieve this:

I will be adding post meta “syncing” soon, so your lists will populate as there are new cities added automatically.
However, that being said, if you are entering cities it sounds likes a Taxonomy might be a better fit for you needs (which would get around the syncing issue).
Hope that helps!
Thanks
