    WP switched away from from allowing usage of 1 taxonomy across multiple post types a few versions ago, but it is indeed still possible.

    For now S&F supports taxonomy archives only when you choose the “custom post type archive” display method, which limits you to setting 1 post type only.

    Therefor using S&F on taxonomy archives, with the 1 post type selected, will limit the results to that post type.

    Hope that helps, give it a test anyway and you will see 🙂
