    Hello everyone,

I am looking for a way to have 2 buttons that fetch different posts with taxonomies values.

    Let me explain :
    – I have a taxonomy called “style” with 2 values (“Option 1”, “Option 2”)
    – My CPT is attached to this taxonomie with “Option 1” or/and “Option 2”
    – I want 2 button called “Option 1” and “Option 2” that will search all posts witch “option 1” or “option 2″…

    Is this possible ?

    Thank you.

If that is all you want to do, or do you also want other forms elements? Just as buttons you make normal links in WordPress and style them as buttons, and make the URL to have the get query at the end for that taxonomy value.

No, i’m looking for more fields in my form :
    – Search field
    – Taxonomie 1 (multi select)
    – Taxonomie 2 (multi select)
    – and the 2 buttons

    OK

If you can have the form set to use Ajax and be auto submit on user interaction, then set the option 1 option 2 field as checkbox options and show me the finished form and we will can css to make then look like buttons?

Yes, but if i set the form to be autosubmited the form will be automatically submit when a field will be clicked.
There is no way to identify one submit button to the other ? I really need to attached a post meta or taxonomy to a submit button.

I do not think that it is possible to have submit buttons attached to individual fields, unless you break the form into separate forms, each with their own button, but then the fields would no longer interact.

I think i will use radio button and then style them to a button. But i can’t autosubmit form when only one of these checkbox will be clicked.

Ok, it is resolved so what i’ve done is :
set a taxonomy field to radio button, then use jquery to autosubmit the form when a radio is changed.

Thank you Trevor for the advice.

I can mark this as resolved and close the thread?
