    Hello,
I am developing a site where users can post and search for job listings here: http://smartdevelop.staging.wpengine.com/?post_type=job

Currently, you have to click the submit button twice before the search runs, is there way to make this happen on the first click?

Secondly, I have several dropdown menus that relate to custom fields, however, not all the entries are being found for some reason. For example, under salary range it says that 0 jobs exist for NMW, however this one exits: http://smartdevelop.staging.wpengine.com/job/test-job-email-2/
I have tried rebuilding the cache, but the count remains the same.

Many thanks for your help in advance,
    Alex

Do you have Auto Count ON or OFF (there are two settings)?

    Hi Trevor,
I have both checkboxes checked under Auto count:
    Auto count enabled,
And Update the Search Form on user interaction

    Is that what you mean?
    Thanks,
    Alex

Yes. the second one (Update the Search Form) may take a little while to update the form, and the submit button is actually disabled whilst this happens.

So, to test this, make a choice and wait, then click. Does it work with one click?

Ah yes, I see. Waiting a bit does indeed allow the first click to work.

I have unchecked the second box as I prefer the speedier version.

Do you have any ideas as to why the count is not accurate for the post meta?

    Many thanks,

    Alex

Oh actually, I think the problem there is on my end – let me investigate further before I waste your time
    Thanks
    Alex
