Ah I see the problem! You are creating multiple search forms but not enabling language correctly 😉

Please check here on how to configure WPML – http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/configuring-with-wpml/

You must go into WPML settings and enable translations for Search & Filter – I hope this is what you need!

    Nothing better…

I get the /en/jobs slug working, that is fine, but the result is not OK.

I’ve spent now 3 days looking for a satisfactory solution… started everything from scratch (3rd time), and I can’t get it to work. I’ve also consulted a friend of mine who is also a specialist of wordpress… Nothing better.

I’ve tried everything, shortcodes, pages, templates…

Shortcode method : not compatible witch “content shortcode” plugin. Articles appear with unreplaced shortcodes brackets

Achive page method : impossible to set correctly the slug, or the template, or I don’t know what happens. Maybe a cache bug ???

I just have to give up now.

Many thanks for your help. I seen what you’ve done and it works indeed.
There is still a problem remaining :
    http://www.talan.fr/en/jobs3/
When I launch this page, the article do appear with excerpt only, but when they are filtered, the result is not displayed as a liste of excerpts but as a list of full articles.
    I cant’ understand why.

It will because the template you are using – you need to modify the template that you are using for your results to show excerpts and not full text (under display results -> custom template).

    Thanks

    Hi Xavier

I must ask, what has changed recently in your setup?

Hello Ross, nothing changed… just updated all the plugins and wp core, the normal wp routine !
Would you accept to dedicate 1 hour by skype so that I can show you the problems and maybe find a solution together ? I’ll pay you for this time but I need to go ahead with this, my client it getting mad at me…

    Hi Xavier

Haha nothing has changed (aka lot has changed) 😉

I have another user reporting WPML issues:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/wpml-slug-issue/

    Could they be related?

By any chance did you take a backup? I’m sure you know its always recommended before upgrading so you can test compatibility etc and especially before upgrading the WP core.

Lets try to resolve before a skype – I’m so busy at the moment trying to get the delayed version 2.0 release out of the door..

Can you set up a clean/dev install with limited plugins and test? I have a feeling that when you updated WP and other plugins that an error was caused here.

I have resolved 99% of WP 4.2 issues with S&F and have tested with WPML etc so I’m thinking an upgrade to something else is causing a conflict.

    Thanks
