Hi,
I have a form that some of its fields work as expected but the others won’t filter the results. Choosing an option does change the products count on other fields but the products list remain the same.
Example:
http://185.127.16.178/~suntiago/product-category/mounting_systems/
“Type” field works as expected, “Surface” field doesn’t.
Any idea?
Thanks,
RoyTrevor(Private) July 1, 2020 at 4:29 pm #250993I am thinking that the forms are conflicting with each other, as they are all applied to Products. So, a field may not work because that field may be missing on another form.
It would be far better to have one form with all that you need on, set to WooCommerce mode, and use CSS to hide/show fields on different pages. The body tag on WooCommerce has a number of class names that you can use to target such custom CSS.
Trevor(Private) July 2, 2020 at 2:28 pm #251161You are correct. When you use sliders in a form, as soon as the form is submitted all range sliders are added. If post has no value set for any (one or more) of the slider fields, it will automatically disappear from the results.
We plan to address this issue with a workaround in V3 (due in a few months), but the quick fix is to make sure that every slider field value on each post has a value, maybe 0 if it is not applicable.
I think the gaps may be on the capacity_kwh field entries.
