Stopping search results from appearing automatically

When I open the page with my search form, results are appearing automatically without having clicking on the submit button. How can I stop this from happening?

If you are using the shortcode display results method, you will be using our results.php template file to display the results. See this post if that is the case (otherwise let me know which method you are using):

For Divi, it is possible only to use this method or the Shortcode display results method. The way the theme is coded prevents the Post Type Archive and As an Archive method working (but for WooCommerce pages Divi still works fine with our WooCommerce display results method, because Divi does not interfere with WooCommerce too much).
