Hi there.
Is there a way to create “stepped selection”. So, I have a Custom Taxonomy called “Locations”. Country, County and Town are all parent, and UK, Lancashire, Blackburn would be children of those for example.
Is there a way, I can select “Country”, then the County then appears, and then I chose the county I need, and then the towns appear?
At the moment its just showing them all as one.
Rob.
I understand, our plugin does not, yet support sequential dependency (where you make one selection in a field, then another field appears).
Instead it does it via facets, where each choice is in a separate field, with all fields showing.
So, if a user would select Blackburn from the list of towns, the County would automatically switch to Lancashire and the Country to UK.
You would need to split the terms that are currently in the one taxonomy into three taxonomies, and also set up the automatic nature of the facet selection.
