    I have a client who is using HTML in wordpress post titles (i.e. “<i>Title</i> goes here) and this is causing it to not be sorted correctly. Is there a way to force the plugin to use the plain text of the title, not the html version?

    Only by having a custom field that contains the stripped version, and sorting by that.
