Sort Order "price" not working

You must choose “numeric” where you choose sort order, it looks like its using alphabetic ordering.

maybe some additional info. The numbers are stored without separating thousands (e.g. 1000000). The output is generated by a short php script with “number_format”

some of the “aanneemsom” are NULL / empty . I dont know if thats a part of the problem?

The strangest thing is. I does work if i select “settings & Default –> Posts” and use the default sort order there.

Just doesnt workt when using sort-order –> meta value

Here is what happens. I used display:none to hide the dropdown menu so visitors wont see the dropdown when it doesnt work.

Hey there,

A post does not have a price associated with it, it will not be found in the search results once a user submits…

Does this sound like whats happening?

No the sorting order of the price doesnt work at all, whether there’s a price associated with it or not.

When selecting the sort order on the page, there aren’t any results shown. The strange part is, when sorting via ‘settings & Default –> Posts’ it works, but when sorting ‘sort-order –> meta value’ it doesnt.

Just keep in mind i’ve hidden the selectionbox for sorting the price, but it is there: sort_order=_sfm_aanneemsom%2Fomzet+asc+num
(and have some patience while the_loop is loading at first ;-|)
