I’ve used Search and Filter a handful of times with good results but having a bit of an issue here.
Using Elementor with Hello theme with the Search and Filter elementor plugin. I have the site set up very similar to others I’ve done in the past using custom post types and taxonomies. The main difference here is that I’m trying to also filter Media items as this is for a resources page which are all PDF assets.
Absolutely nothing shows up on my results page, not the filters or the results.
My client would not like my to share their URL so I can send privately and allow admin access if needed.
    Thank you.

Hi. I don’t see our search form on that page? Id did see one error in the form settings, on the advanced tab. You had Relevance selected. I have deselected it for now.

With regard to having either of these settings set to ON:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/zmoArLmi

If you do, do you have the free Relevanssi plugin installed? You may only use:

The top setting on its own, OR
    Both of those two settings

If you DO have Relevanssi installed. Indeed, if you do not have it installed.

Our plugin does not directly allow you to do text searches of individual Post Meta (custom fields) and Taxonomy (Category, Tags and Taxonomies) data/terms. The Search & Filter Pro Text Search field uses the standard WordPress search, so looks only in the Post Title and Content. To help you control this better, on the form’s Advanced settings tab you will see 2 settings for Relevanssi.

The documentation for this is here:

    https://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/3rd-party/relevanssi/

You would need to install and activate the free Relevanssi plugin as well.

Then set Relevanssi up and build its index (make sure it is indexing the desired post types, custom fields AND any taxonomy that you want to search).

I went back in and looked. Despite what I see in your screenshot, the form was not set in the Form widget nor the Posts widget. So, I set them and Updated the page. Now check the page.

That is strange. Have you ever come across that before? On a side note, this is the first time we are searching and filtering Media files, very useful, thank you!!
