    In the Relevanssi settings, did you tell it to index custom fields?

    I also save and rebuild Index.

    Then I went to Search & Filter >> Advance >> tick Enable Relevanssi. Then rebuild S7F cache again.

    Both WP Search and S&F search form still do not work properly

    See in the image, in the right side, a BIG BLUE BUTTON? Directly above that is the Custom Fields setting. Enter All in here.

    Excellent, it works now.

    I still got the issue with VC – Ajax refresh – manual excerpt. I will sort it out but might be back with some silly questions.

    The S&F plugin is 5* but the customer service must be 10*

    1 – I added manual excerpt and it fix the JS-Ajax conflict between S&F and Visual Composer

    With default theme listing, those posts do not show any issue

    (The theme auto sets excerpt to a read more link)

    So I think it is better to edit the excerpts within the S&F page only. Is there any chance I can remove/control the excerpt display on the S&F page?

    2 – Also within the S&F page, some posts show the publish date, others don’t. How should I fix it?

    1. I went to the page and see excerpts with VC shortcodes still? Although I do see at least one post with a ‘Bob write the excerpt here’ content!! And that one has a date.

    2. I wonder if the VC codes are disrupting the date? Does the date always show on ones fixed with custom excerpts?

    1 – Yes I tested by manually adding an excerpt, and it shows nicely on the S&F page.
    However, if my post does not have manual excerpt, it shows the VC code which is bad.

    I just want to make that page looks like/similar to the other listing page

    In this page it shows the post’s manual excerpt, or auto put non-excerpt to a Readmore button.

    I think the best way is to – if it is possible – get into S&F code and remove the excerpt part. Do you think it is a good way to handle the issue?

    2 – You are right, the VC code affects the date. If it is possible I want to hide that information as well (similar to the other page), and it will need to tweak the code of the search page.

    If you are working with the Shortcode Display results method, you can edit the results.php file. Change the_excerpt to the_content

    The date part is easy to see in there.
