    I have a custom post type with a taxonomy that is specific to the CPT. It is hirearchial and I would only like the parent categories to show, but still search its children. Is that possible? I just want my drop down list to be short as possible and I only have about 3 parent categories. If possible, maybe I can only just include a few parent categories? I only see an exclude option. I am open to any ideas and suggestions you may have. Great plugin!

    I have a funny feeling that the child categories have different html css classes? Do a trial run and look in the browser object inspector and see if they have their own specific class, if they do you could make them display:none in custom CSS.

    They do not. They are actually really poorly done as they seem to be indented using the ascsi html characters for spacing. EWWW!
