We are just learning this plugin, and pretty new to Avada. On advice from your forum, we’re using the shortcode method, as it seems to be the only way to get the Ajax display code to work. All good, except the_excerpt and the_post_thumbnail don’t seem to work:

Substituting the_content does display the correct content. Inspection shows that the H2 title displays, so the_permalink and the_title are working. Then we get:

Which seems to indicate that the_excerpt returned nothing, but has_post_thumbnail returns true because we have the second paragraph, but the_post_thumbnail returns nothing.
We are up to date on Avada and all of our plugins.
Help much appreciated.
OK, we have this figured out. Search and Filter can’t pick up the first set of words from a Fusion Builder text block element and use it as excerpt. So you have to use the custom excerpt. It might be necessary to click excerpt in screen options to get the box to show up. The text in the excerpt box will show up in the results excerpt. Thumbnail seems to be working OK, that was an issue on our end.
