    Hi

1-the search field (key words) has no effect on the search
2 – i have an ACF field (“rubrique”) used by post and pages, but the select field always show a 0 count on each item, it does no recognize any post with this custom taxonomy
3 – when I use the search button, the result show an item floating on the top of the page ( only the first page, the other result pages ( pagination) does not have it)
4 – I would like to keep the orginal WP search fields in some places, but it can’t use the same result page and communicate it’s value with the s&f search field, is there a solution?

I could sent you the url, even an admin access, but i wish to keep it private.
    Thanks

Just addressing two of the more obvious issues to begin with.

You have placed a taxonomy called rubrique in the form, but it is an ACF field, so it must be a Post Meta. You will see I have changed this for you (to fix #2).

Also, you had two settings for Relevanssi enabled, but you do not have the Relevanssi plugin installed, so I switched those settings off (this was the cause of #1 I think).

The theme search field will not communicate with our search form, sorry. You could change the theme search for a form made using Search and Filter (the ease with which this can be done varies from theme to theme, so there are no generic instructions).

V3 of our plugin will have a way to do what you want, but I have no timescale for that release.

Can you try the search again and see if #3 is still an issue?

1, 2 are ok, great, i understood my mistakes. 4 : i will work on it, but 3 is still unsolved; it’s very weird, it happens only if the search include “posts” type, the 3 first posts are involved …i’m looking for an html issue without success

    Do you have sticky posts?

In our form their is a setting on the Post settings tab to ignore sticky posts?

Yes i have sticky posts , I change the settings to “ignore” without success. It look more like a js or html issue

Can you make an annotated screenshot of the issue and provide me with a link to that image so I can download/view it (images can’t be uploaded here)?

Then, with the setting enabled that causes the problem, suggest a search I can make to see that issue shown in the screenshot?

I have isolated the issue ! it comes from the class “sticky” of the article…don’t know why but I can work on it now. thanks a lot
