    Hi Ross,

I am running into the issue of not being able to save any settings for any of my saved filters. I have recently cloned and copied over from our dev staging servers to the client’s server. I noticed that the filter was not working so looked into the settings. For some reason some of the settings did not carry over, for example, I tried to change the search template from search.php to search-news-events.php, but when I try to save it goes back to the default search.php. Also when I try to change “search for the following post types” I check the correct boxes, blog posts and a CPT of events. But when I save it does not take the new checked boxes.

    I have:

Turned off all other plugins and tested, completely deleted the search and filter and search and filter pro folders and re-installed. I am running Search and filter 1.2.7 and Search and filter pro 1.4.3. This is the error that shows up when you see the list of forms:
Notice: Undefined variable: defaults in /home/cwis71/public_html/wp-content/plugins/search-filter-pro/admin/class-search-filter-admin.php on line 207

Got any idea why things aren’t saving? Please help!

Also, getting another error for results not being displayed:

    http://graduateschooldev.colostate.edu/programs
Notice: Undefined index: include_children in /home/cwis71/public_html/wp-content/plugins/search-filter-pro/public/includes/class-search-filter-setup-query.php on line 381

    Thanks!

    Hey Noel

A few of these PHP errors have been resolved in S&F 2.0 so hopefully thats a few ticks off your list.

Actually, you cannot run S&F pro alongside S&F free – so can you try disabling S&F free?

    Thanks

Hi Ross! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Turning off S&F free did not change any of the errors. BTW when upgrading to PRO there was not anything to indicate that you had to delete FREE, but PRO and FREE was working on the staging server.

I did not see 2.0, when I login and see “View Details and Downloads” it says search-filter-pro-1.4.3, how do I get 2.0?

    Thanks again for the help!

    Hi Noel

I’ve just sent you a copy – we’re still writing the docs for it but should be fully working.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have exactly the same error after copying my website from dev environment to live, is it possible to receive the upgrade?

    Many thanks,

    Hi Ross,

Thanks for the update. It looks like it is up and working for me now that I have made the update. I did have to delete one that still was throwing errors but managed to fix it by just creating a brand new filter replicating the same settings. I hope that helps, @pierrehubert.
