Set the minimum number of chars for auto submit form

Is it possible to somehow set the minimum number of characters to be entered in the search field so that the search starts automatically, eg from 3 or more characters? We do not want to allow starting the search in case of typing eg 1 or 2 characters.

This is not possible in the current version of our plugin, sorry. The only workaround for now would be to disable auto Submit and add a Search button to the form. This may change when we release V3 in a few months time.
