Hi!
This is probably too much to ask, but see if you can help me.
I want to create pages for services like plumber, cell phone repair, etc. Each of those services can be in a state, city, neighborhood, etc. For cellphone, for example, people can drill down for brand options like Lg, Motorola, etc. For other can be some other details.
I’m trying to create filters for users to search for those services. State, City, Service, etc.
Any ideas?
I have installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/, as adviced. From there I cant seem to create a filter for the combo I created fro State and City. I’m adding a Post/Meta field from Search and Filtres Pro plugin, and I cant see to find the custom field there, on MetaKey
Hi, you will want separate taxonomies or custom fields for each, like:
Country
State
City
In the form you check Hide Empty
and in the General Setup tab check ON both Auto Count boxes.
Then as you make selections, the choices in the other boxes update.
If you need to add taxonomies, use CPT UI. You might want to read this post also:

O have created a “Field Group” using “Custom Field addon” you suggested. The Field Group is called “Region”. There is 3 fields inside it.
Field Label | Field name | Field Type
State | state | Select
City | city-fort-lauderdale | Select
City | city-miami | Select
On post pages I show/hide the cities selectbox depending on the selection of the State.
I have read your other post you have mentioned, not to use parent>child. But I cant understand how this would work, since we have that depedency in reality.
